MobileDrive, a joint venture between Stellantis, one of the world’s leading automaker mobility providers, and Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics manufacturer and leading technological solutions provider, has entered a strategic agreement with Wuxi Autolink Tianxia Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Autolink).

Based on the principle of “resource sharing, complementary advantages, win-win cooperation and project success”, the two parties will establish a comprehensive, long-term cooperation in research, development and manufacturing of automotive intelligent cockpit domain controllers.

A signing agreement was conducted in late July with executives from both parties including Wu Hongjuan, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Wuxi Economic Development Zone, Chen Guoquan, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Wuxi Economic Development Zone, Calvin Chih, CEO and General Manager of MobileDrive, and Yang Hongze, Chairman of Autolink World.

For the respective industry advantages of both parties, the strategic agreement will result in jointly developed automotive infotainment systems, telematics solutions, and cloud service platforms. Autolink has rich customer experience and manufacturing capabilities in the field of intelligent cockpits, while MobileDrive has rich business development capabilities and software development capabilities. Through resource sharing and technology integration, the two parties aim to improve the level of automotive intelligence, enhance the in-vehicle experience of users, and promote the development and application of related technologies. This strategic cooperation is not only expected to accelerate the market launch of innovative products by both companies, but also promote the progress of the automotive industry itself in terms of information and intelligence.
