CURRENT OPENINGS
Job Title: Customer Service Engineer
Location: Betim, Brazil
Job Summary: As the company’s representative at the customer site, you will be responsible for handling all quality-related issues. In addition, you will support non-quality activities such as technical, business, and logistics needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish a trusting relationship with the customer’s plant engineering, line operators, quality departments, logistics departments, and customer service organizations.
2. Manage the specific customer location through proactive visits as agreed upon with the customer.
3. Serve as the primary contact for customer complaints, whether on-site or remotely.
4. Provide accurate and timely feedback to manufacturing plants and Business Units (BUs) regarding quality or manufacturing issues.
5. Participate in joint pre-analysis and pre-selection at customer warranty return centers, facilitating discussions to reduce part returns and related costs.
6. Coordinate the transfer of returned parts to appropriate analysis centers and, if necessary, register complaints in the return database.
7. Manage sorting, rework, or re-flash actions at customer facilities, implementing immediate actions to minimize customer disruptions.
8. Support product changes, customer plant trial runs, and safe launch activities at customer facilities.
9. Explore potential business opportunities by visiting customer engineering and purchasing departments.
10. Provide technical support for new projects, including technical communication with customers, software updates, log file downloads, and testing new software versions.
Required Qualifications:
• Familiarity with ISO90001, TS16949, VDA6.3, and other relevant standards.
• Experience with Stellantis quality requirements or other OEMs.
• Expert knowledge of automotive technology.
• Fluent in English and the customer’s working language, both written and spoken.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Performance Indicators:
• Timely resolution of all customer quality issues through effective coordination of internal and external resources.
• Drive all related functions to achieve quality targets (0km & field, NCC, etc.).
Personality Traits:
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and responsible.
Preferred Industry Background:
• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 suppliers.
