MobileDrive has officially launched the Commercial Vehicle Intelligent Driving Solution, which has already begun selling to the commercial vehicle market.
Intelligent driving solutions designed specifically for heavy-duty trucks face challenges such as significantly impacting visual imaging quality due to the large differences in payload and the height of the tractor head compared to passenger cars. MobileDrive overcomes this issue through its Vehicle Intelligent Control Software, which integrates vehicle control and multi-sensing fusion technology.
Additionally, MobileDrive’s unique Perception Fusion Dynamic Compensation Algorithm addresses various perception application challenges faced by heavy-duty trucks in different road surface qualities, payload conditions, and light source illuminations. The Adaptive Load Detection System monitors vehicle dynamics and estimates payload in real-time to control braking and steering subsystems, ensuring optimal safety for commercial vehicles under various road conditions and payload states.
With the increasingly stringent commercial vehicle safety regulations to enhance driving and road safety, MobileDrive continues to develop solutions that comply with international regulatory requirements. With China and Europe, two major automotive markets as examples, MobileDrive has developed active braking system (AEB), lane departure warning system (LDW), and forward collision warning system (FCW) (referred to as the dual warning system) in China, and have passed the production performance requirements of regulations and undergone complete system testing verification.
Other intelligent safety functions of MobileDrive, such as the Intelligent Speed Assistance system (ISA), Driver Fatigue Detection system (DMS), Blind Spot Information System (BSIS), and Forward Obstruction Warning System (MOIS), also comply with the European Union’s General Safety Regulation (GSR) and will be introduced in customer-released models in the second half of 2024.
MobileDrive continues to invest in the development of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that meet higher levels and comply with regulations in various countries, providing comprehensive safety guarantees and more options for automotive manufacturers. Additionally, MobileDrive will launch more user-friendly AI driving applications to create safer and more intelligent driving experiences.
